Solera sweet wine
Grapes: White Grenache, Rosé Grenache
This wine becomes the result of an attempt to recover a system widely used in aging across the Albera and gives some really interesting wines. Basically what they did was to select one of the barrels that are part of Garnatxa Solera d’Espolla and remained for more than a year in the windows of the facade of wine in glass of low capacity. Temperature was recorded using a termomether with memory and temperature difference during this period ranged between 39 ° C and -3ºC.
Natural sweet wine made by adding half fermentation wine alcohol and double oxidative aging. First in American oak cask of 600 L and a Solera that began more than 50 years; and secondly in glass replaced in the ‘sun and calm’ in front of the windows of the cellar for about 800 days taking daily temperature contrasts between day and night.
Beetwen 12 ºC and 14 ºC.
